About me
♡
My name is Daniela. I am deeply curious about life and about what unfolds both within us and around us. I love observing the world, listening to people, and learning from every encounter. Silence grounds me; relationships give me purpose. Every story that crosses my path becomes part of my own path.
My professional path began in Management, the field in which I trained and worked from 2012 onwards. Over time, I felt a genuine call to know myself more deeply and to live with greater purpose. This inner quest led me to explore therapy, Mindfulness, Focusing, meditation, and Yoga — pillars that now support and shape my life.
My curious side…
I trained as a Coach at InsightOut, a school accredited by the Activision Coaching Institute and certified by the International Coaching Federation (ICF). I also trained in Integrative Humanistic Emotional Support at the Instituto Carl Rogers in Barcelona, where I attended the Master’s programme in Integrative Psychotherapy for Individuals and Groups.
These experiences awakened a deep interest in emotional support, particularly within the Rogerian humanistic approach, grounded in 3 essential attitudes of unconditional positive regard, empathy, and congruence.
Alongside this perspective, I integrate humanistic therapeutic approaches such as Gestalt therapy, body-based work, and parts work through Internal Family Systems (IFS).
In 2025, I completed my first Yoga Teacher Training (200 hours, certified by Yoga Alliance) at the Manu School of Yoga in Lisbon. It was an intense and transformative immersion that deepened my curiosity for the rich and profound philosophy of Yoga.
I am fascinated by the complexity of being human — ever-changing and far richer than social labels or past narratives. I also recognize the weights we carry, the ones that slowly pull us away from our essence. Becoming aware of them and gently releasing them within a supportive space can be transformative. In truth, I believe this is a beautiful and lifelong process.
This awareness is what brought me here and inspired the creation of Ser Ayni.
I wish to be part of a reciprocal exchange, contributing to a world where more people can walk their paths with authenticity, aligned with their essence and guided by a deep sense of humanity. At Ser Ayni, I place my sensitivity, presence, and attentive listening at the service of the community.
And because within one journey, many others can unfold…
I love to travel — to feel free, to discover new places, and to lose myself in nature. I travel guided by what my heart whispers, carrying respect for everything I encounter and an endless curiosity for new people, cultures, and ways of living.
Every encounter, every place, becomes a story interwoven with my own.
What guides me is:
• Empathy that creates connection
• Unconditional acceptance of each being
• Authenticity that sets us free
• Respect and love as companions
• Presence and deep listening
• Reciprocity that restores balance
• Freedom to simply be

Life, in all its vastness, does not always make it easy to recognize our purpose or reconnect with our true center. External noise and social expectations often pull us toward roles, achievements, and patterns that may not reflect who we truly are. And we rarely allow ourselves the space to pause and listen inwardly.
I know this place well. I was once chasing goals, moving fast — yet beneath it all, I could hear the quiet whispers of my heart, inviting me to explore other paths.
I began practicing yoga at the age of 14, driven by curiosity and intuition, without fully realizing the journey I was stepping into. The physical practice led me into silence; movement became a gateway inward. Writing also found me early on — a way to give shape to an inner world that sometimes felt too heavy or hard to name.
I carry a restless heart with a worldly soul.
Little by little, a great desire to fly into the world grew within me. Despite fears and insecurities, I followed my intuition. I lived in Spain and Hungary, experiences that expanded my sense of belonging beyond the borders of my home country, Portugal.
Despite living in Portugal, this thirst for the world has always stayed with me. Over the years, I embraced every opportunity to travel, paying attention to life’s simplest details: watching the sun rise and set in different places, tasting unfamiliar foods, connecting with people, and learning how to say “hello” in many languages.
I have travelled in many ways, including solo journeys which, as a woman, filled me with pride and strengthened my confidence and independence. I love walking, especially in nature. I hold a deep affection for the Camino de Santiago — a place that feels like home and to which I return whenever my soul calls.
I also spent years in the corporate world, one of the greatest experiences was working closely with several African countries, which taught me what it truly means to belong to something larger than borders or cultural differences. I led teams, navigated demanding and competitive environments, all of which challenged me to grow and to know myself more deeply.
A journey of discovery that continues.
Now, I choose to create space to simply Be
Listening closely to my heart, I felt a call to reconnect with my sensitive, nurturing side. I believe that caring for others begins with caring for ourselves. With courage, I pressed pause on my corporate career and, once again, chose trust over certainty.
That pause brought silence, clarity, and a gentler way of seeing myself and others. I learned that when we slow down, what truly matters becomes clearer.
From this life journey, one certainty remains: although each person carries their own story, something essential unites us all — our humanity, our essence, and the purpose we each hold.
The foundation of my work
A deep respect for individual paths, a sense of shared humanity, connection, and mutual care.
Some journeys transform us.
This one has been a lifelong return to myself.
And now, it may be the beginning of yours. Let’s begin?
